The hood was tested for sound insulation by TÜV Süd according to DIN EN ISO 11546:2009-10. The result: an average noise level of 6.6 dB(A) and a peak of 10.7 dB(A) at 2500 Hz.

How long does delivery take?
Items in stock usually take 10–14 working days. Custom sizes/projects: approx. 4–6 weeks.
How is it shipped?
Standard sizes via DHL (DE), larger/custom solutions via freight forwarder.
Is there a right of return?
For standard sizes: 14-day return policy. Custom-made items are excluded from the right of withdrawal.

Soundproofing & TA-Lärm
How much quieter will it be?
Depending on the model/set: LOOP ~6–10 dB(A), PRISM up to 15 dB(A), BASIC 0–6 dB(A). (TÜV measurements available.)
What does dB(A) mean?
Scale for perceived loudness; −10 dB(A) seems about half as loud.
Does the hood help with compliance with TA noise regulations?
Yes, it lowers the noise level at the neighboring window, which is particularly relevant for nighttime levels. For sensitive locations, we recommend PRISM.

Are there any preferred colors?
Yes – in addition to standard colors, we also paint in your desired color (RAL), and on request with custom dimensions.
What are the hoods made of?
Made entirely of aluminum with Qualicoat powder coating - robust, corrosion-resistant and durable.
