soni HEAVY is an elastic sound-absorbing mat made of polymeric plastic with a mineral filler. Its high surface mass (up to 5 kg/m²) makes it an effective solution for reducing airborne noise in technical applications – e.g., in machine enclosures, hoods, vehicles, or ventilation ducts.

The mat is self-adhesive, flame-retardant according to DIN EN 13501-1, and flexible – even for use on curved surfaces. It is particularly effective in sandwich constructions (e.g., in combination with porous absorbers such as soni 471 or soni COMPOSITE).
